Excursion to Caulín & Ancud
Experience the adventure that the Chiloé island offers, though its gastronomy, history and mythology. A full-day package!
We will begin our excursion by boarding the ferry at the town of Pargua, that will take us to the Pacific Ocean. Then, we will cross the Chacao channel until we reach the Chiloé island.
Once there, we will go to Caulín bay, also known as sanctuary of sea birds, because of the great number of sea birds that it contains.
Later, we will head to Ancud, where we will visit the main square and the museum, to learn about the archipelago’s mythology and the local craftmanship. Then, we will visit the San Antonio fort, historical landmark located at the highest point of the city and built at the end of the 18th Century.
